There is no error message. As if the license key were no longer valid, no further editing is allowed. I am happy to provide information. Only without an error message I do not know what information I should provide.

When installing a layout for a new page, the message "Invalid License Key" appears as a red popup.

I found the solution:

Mail and license-key must match in the joomla configuration under page builder. No different email address may be entered.
