a) Result: When you click a folder, the content displays all the folders and subfolders of Joomla. b) Why is there a media libray for Joomla and a media library for SP Page Builder?. It looks like not to the same
I deactivated JCE Editor, but it does not change anything.

Images from SPPB are stored in /images/YEAR folder for example /images/2022/ etc.
Joomla Media uses /images/ by default
Nothing was changed for the last few years, it's this same as it was. So I am surprised that you are asking this today and have been using SPPB for several months. But if you have any rationalization idea you can share.
JCE is Text editor. Yes, it has its own Media browser but it's not our product to talk about it here.
