SP Page Builder 2 years ago

When creating a folder with spaces in the name and opening that folder it shows me a list of joomla root folders

SP page builder 3.8 has the problem in all joomla 4.0 to 4.3 SP page builder 5 gives me an error "Invalid path for performing this action." and i can't upload to the folder.

I have tried this on multiple templates ex: shaper_opus, edulif and ensure.

Hi Ahmed,

in general it's NOT recommended to use folder names with spaces in Linux. It's better to use "-" or "_" instead of empty space.

This same rule is for all CMS's - Wordpress as well.

Please listen my advice (not only mine, to be honest) and stop trying to creating folders (in Joomla), for example, "Gallery Wedding 2023" instead use: "Gallery-Wedding_2023".

Fewer problems and everything will work properly. Educate your clients as well.

Hello Paul, We do train our customers not to put spaces when naming, and based on our support team this can be easily forgotten and clients will more likely to put spaces. Also, as joomla enables spaces in the folder name it should be handeled proberly in pagebuilder.
