Onepage Template: Change Add On

In the quickstart of the onepage template there is a Slideshow (Full Width). I would like to replace this add on with Animated Heading. If I do this, the menu is not at the bottom anymore. Am I forgetting something? Or is it best not to change this add on?

one more thing: the blog looks not correct either. Just scroll a bit down and click on one of the latest blog. The menu bar disappears again to the bottom. I have found this website with the same onepage template, and there is it working fine: https://www.dougielampkin.co.uk/
