Chging Colors

Can somebody provide some documentation on how to change those colors in multipla places ? Working with COLORS in the Helix Template is a nightmare. See the screenshot below. https://ibb.co/R2m5YPM

I want to keep WHITE on the Page Header but I want to have all other WHITE items on the page dark. The problem is that when I change colors in the template setting to dark (i.e BLACK) then the Page Header text is BLACK on DARK BLUE (so it is unreadable). This color depndency is a VERY VARY BIG MISTAKE in the entire template design ! This really has to be corrected in future release. I have no idea how one could create something like that - it is a real deal breaker for your products. In the meantime I would appreciate if somedy could provide a solution (or rather temporary workaround) to fix those problems. It seems that all the objects related bot BLOG layout (i.e Article List etc. cannot be simply setup in the template).

I want to be able to change colors for all elemtns which are white on this page (including the white frames, page navigation etc)

HOW CAN I DO THIS ?

Maybe just use Code Inspector from your browser. My Guide: https://www.joomshaper.com/blog/which-line-of-css-i-have-to-edit-code-inspector-in-action

Arthur, I have the impression that your frustration is due to your lack of basic webmaster knowledge. Instead of getting irritated, expand your knowledge using resources and tools that you already have.

BTW

  1. On your website there are many language errors, like this sentence:

Oni zrobili pierwszy krtrok - koleny należy do ciebie.

Use browser dictionary or just ask somebody to read and correct it before publishing. We all makes mistakes that's why it's worth to make double check.

  1. Font Helvetica used as small font (14px or smaller) looks horrible and it's very hard to read it.
  2. Because you have opened Joomla registration, you have already many fake user accounts from Russian domain.

Paul - thank you but my question is still not answered and I've been waiting already several days.

I need to change the WHITE backgrounds and pointing me to the CODE INSPECTOR does not help. I do not have problem figuring out where the live page code is. I do not know where to search for the CSS for it to change and I do not have a time to dig in your template files one be one....

My frustration comes from the fact that the template skipped many important places with settings and users have to apply tons of different patches to make this work. I used GANTRY template in the past and never had this type of problems.

Some time ago I've asked how to fix the problem with the Menu Item Head (I'm talking about Menu item not the page header). You guys posted some code. I applied the code and it did not work. Asxked for solution --- 3 weeks later, no answer, no solution,....just silence.

If you would have at least good documentation for CSS customization you would save yourself tons of time,....as people most likely keep asking you the same questions over and over and you loosing lots of time as well. Another way of doing this is simply to get involved in the forum so users can see your public answers.

I have also stated that I am not a CSS expert or coder. DO YOU HAVE A STATEMENT ON YOUR PAGE SAYING THAT PROVIDED TOOLS ARE FOR ADVANCED CSS DEVELOPERS ? Please do not try to put the blame on users. You seem to mixing up Webmqaster with Developer.

..expand your knowledge using resources and tools that you already have

How am I supposed to find what I need ? Is there a section in the DOC or your sitre explaining how to work with pieces of templates which do not have any setting and do manual CSS customization ? I really do not understand what are you talking about. I need to put my time into creating site frame and working on content and not waste it on playing with COLORS like that,... It is not only my opinion, there many people complaining about the same,...

THANK YOU for your suggestions about languages, but at the moment this site is not even operational in another lagunage simply because there are issues with the template. I tried to apply Polish and everything got screwed up. At the moment I need to first get this into shape in English and will deal with Polish and other lagunages later.

BTW: Here is the question. Would SPB work fine with default Joomla template ?

Arthur,

You need to be patient and learn about basic CSS coding and how Helix and SPPB work.

If you think there are better providers out there, good luck. Don't take my word for it go read the other provider's forums and try their products. Likely, you already did and know that JoomShaper is your best option.

Basically, when becoming a webmaster we have two options: (1) Learn about coding and CSS and build a template that meets our needs 100 percent, (2) Use a template provider and build a template that meets our needs 60 percent. Basically, we are not going to make our websites look exactly how we want unless we are coders. Work with the options available.

Yes, there are issues. However, you need to learn to point them out kindly, gently, but sometimes firm. Use videos, screenshots, and use the forums to request assistance on ONE issue per forum post.

For example, in your above forum post you trash, complain, argue, disagree with the support staff before you ask your question at the end.

I'd recommend, (1) close this forum post, (2) apologize, to the staff, (3) Open a new ticket, (4) use the forums for one issue at a time, and (4) most importantly, don't insult the staff.

Most importantly, do NOT use Main Menu "Separators" use the "URL" option instead. Read this post for futher information:

When using this method, you can have different colors for your main menu and body fonts.

Yes, in particular if you have Joomla 4.x and its default template.
