SP_PageBuilding Missing From Admin Toolbar

SP Page Builder 3 years ago

Hello - thank you for your wonderful framework and the PageBuilder extension - I am relatively new to it and love it!

I recently updated my Joomla and PageBuilder versions - all to the latest available (J4.1.0) and it appears as if the PageBuilder menu item is no longer showing in the admin menu (I can upload a screenshot but I do not see an option here to do that). I'd appreciate any suggestions you may have on why this isn't showing. Note that the items created in PageBuilder are still working and I can bring up the PageBuilder option when in a custom module - I just cannot navigate to the pages themselves since the component menu item is missing. Thank you!

Hi,

  1. SP Page Builder should be visible in component section in Joomla 4.1
  2. Read also tip #12 from: https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/sp-page-builder/sp-page-builder-3/troubleshooting#no-edit-icons-in-front-end-editor
  3. But indeed we don't have yet module for Joomla 4, but you can add a new custom module in and for admin and just put a links inside.

Thank you for your response but I don't think that gets at my issue. What I am finding is that the SP Page Builder Pro menu item is missing from my admin components menu. Please see the two images I added to the hidden content. The first one is a screenshot of the installation of my "Live" site -- as you can see, SP Page Builder is installed and I can bring up the configuration -- however on the left component menu there isn't a menu item for Page Builder. The second screenshot is my demo site (that I used the same product key -- not sure if that is related and if I only have a 1 website license this maybe invalidates the prior usage). In the second screenshot, all looks well as the SP Page Builder menu item is under the component area as I'd expect.

Any suggestions you have on getting the SP Page Builder menu item to return to the admin components area would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe re-install component, just download and install SPPB Pro again.

Somehow your Joomla "forgot" to add into menu, but it's not component bug, otherwise this error would have everyone, me included. Yes, it's possible to add menu by using MyPHPAdmin... but let's leave this method by now.

Reinstallation fixed it -- thank you for the suggestion (don't know why I didn't think of that!!!). I appreciate the quick and timely assistance!

You're welcome.

It's like with IT support - please turn off and turn on your laptop/pc etc. Sometimes it helps, hahah
