Menu Problem Off Canvas Menu

Hey,
I have a problem with my off canvas menu since the recent update. I have menu items that are headings for sub-items. When I chose as a type: "Menu-heading" the little arrow on the side of the menu item suddenly disappears and I cannot access the sub items anymore. When I change the type to a "site-link" it works, but I don't want the top item to be a link to a specific site.
Why is the menu item not usable in the off canvas menu.

As mobile devices doesn't have the hover feature, it is better to select the menu item type as url and put a hash(#) in the URL field.

E.g. the menu point "Unsere Kita" is a link to a side (but I don't want that). The menu point "Unsere Arbeit" is of the type menu heading. If I open the site on a smartphone "Unsere Kita" can be expanded and I can see the subpoints. It is not possible to expand "Unsere Arbeit".
