This is too old version of Helix. Sorry we do not provide support on Helix V2. And as per my knowledge there is no option like this in Helix V2. If possible you can upgrade the Helix version. You can use Helix3 or Helix Ultimate. You will get this feature on that upgrade versions.You can see it in this screenshot below:

can i upgrade the helix version while keeping the same template on a production site? how?

You can upgrade it on production site also but make sure you have Backup

Because it sometimes create issues when you upgrade it.So its better to keep backup before doing any changes.
