Blog Image Migration Possible?

Template 3 years ago

Hello,

We have thousands of Joomla articles that utilize the default Intro / Full image method that has worked for decades. Now, I'm trying to redesign using the Newsberg template and no images will load in the "Articles Layout" addons.

Please tell me that Joomshaper has delveoped a way to migrate the images from Intro / Full to the new Blog Image which is required for this to work.

Kind regards, John

Hi

Could you please mention that are you getting issues everywhere in the article? Or only your page builder addons does not load? Could you please give me your super admin access on the hidden content please?

Hi Mehtaz,

The addons load fine, that is not the issue. The issues is, the Articles Layout addon only pulls the image from the Joomshaper "Blog Options" section vs the Joomla Article Intro & Full Images.

Which is yet another Joomshaper feature that bypasses Joomla's core functionality.

Joomshaper should add backwards compatibility to these addons so those of us that have thousands of Joomla articles using the core Joomla images can actually use these addons.

Or, provide an integrated migration feature like K2 does.

Kind regards, John

Hi

it seems ok on our end. Could you please be more specific? If possible could you please give me that links where you are not able to see the images? And also share some screenshots please.

It's not ok.

On the very top section of the home page no images appear. The only way they do appear, are if you add an image to the Blog Options section.

The rest of the sections that have images showing are not using the "Articles Layout" addon.

Kind regards, John
