ah no, it is actually to display the thumbnail of the image contained in the article in the list of articles (as shown in the previous image)

Do you want Ariticle addon to show images? This is possible. If you upload image to the Blog Options, then it will be shown like this:

Yes indeed but I made the choice to put an image at the beginning of each article to not be dependent on an extension or a theme.
Wp has this possibility to get the 1st image of the article content. I hope you can do the same.

I hope that you have understood the sytem. Go to Articles -> Blog Options and upload an image there. It will shown as a thumbnail. We developed Helix this way. Your desired layout might not be possible with Helix.
