The reason is simple ... I have an e-shop for J3 and I'm doing a redesign. So I can't use quickstart, but I have to edit an existing site. I can install quickstart with demodata in a subdirectory and import some settings. But I don't know exactly how to proceed ... to add salon tempalte to the existing website in the latest version with all the settings like my demo (menu, layout, etc.)

Or if it will be easier, I can use quickstart for Salon, this site will be erased a bit and import the whole virtuemart with all the data + entry and contact page. Maybe it will be easier?

Yes, you can install the quickstart pack on your localhost and the template pack on your existing site. Then use your desired SP Page Builder pages with the help of import/export feature.

However, what was the issue you was facing with Helix Ultimate actually?

Note: If it is possible to use the quickstart pack, then it will be better. And the salon template is also based on Helix Ultimate framework, no worries. J2store works quite good with Helix Ultimate as per my knowledge. We have some templates based on Helix3 with Virtuemart integrated.

hi i have the some issue everything works fine (i hope) except slideshow

I have the same issue with the salon template. I have used the quickstart but as soon as you do the Helix update or even the PageBuilder update, the slideshow disappear.

I have the same problem, discussed on a private Support with Joomshaper (Rashida Rahman) and did get no solution since 4 months!

Fortunately, I did not update. I don't want to take any chances.
