If I turn on Joomla SEF, ALL Article links and Read More etc links give a 404 Article Not Found error. With SEF off, links works as they should. BUT, I need to have a hidden menu item for Staff to logon and that requires SEF to be on for it to work. I have setup htacess properly and there is still a problem. This is a BIG issue and I need some help in figuring this out. It was not a problem until I updated to SPPB 3.8.6 and possibly Joomla 3.10.6 as they occured about the same time.

I have SEF turned on right now. Clicking on any article title or RED More will give the error. Turning SEF off has no problem, BUT I need the sef because I use a hidden menu item for staff users to login. It is not shared with the public.

Sorry, I cannot find the administrator link. I have tried the link that you have given in the hidden content. Please give me a working link to check.

I found the problem. In the options for Content, Contacts and Users the settings in INTEGRATION Routing need to be set to Legacy. Apparently, there is something to do with the Modern setting that creates the 404 errors.
