Template Builder Instead Of Page Builder

SP Page Builder 3 years ago

Hi

We have been using Helix templates and SP page buidler for years now but compared to Wordpress Elementor PRO we are still way behind the same level of productivity we have with WP.

SP Page builder is great but is only limited to page design while Elementor evolved to a full site builder. The header, footer can be designed with Elementor and are automatically used on every page.

Moreoever with Elementor we can defined a specific model for each type of page : a single article or a collection of articles for instance. I can't find such a thing with SP Page Builder

May be I'm wrong and I would be a happy to be so

Thanks for your feedback

If I may....

SPPB 4 Beta 2 is already published, if we talk about RC versions - April, next weeks. Stable version - probably May 2022.

"The header, footer can be designed with Elementor and are automatically used on every page."

Yes, but have you checked how many requests it makes to the database and why WP sites are so heavy. Besides, even now SPPB Module can be used as a Bottom and Footer, even we use it this way.
About header also possible, I have seen it on our user's sites in the past. But I agree that many things can be improved to speed up the website building process
