Reactivate SP_Page Builder After Migration To Joomla 4

SP Page Builder 3 years ago

Hi, I am in the proces of migrating a site from j3.10.8 to j4.1.2. I followed Ofi's video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6hy9Xepotg on how to migrate under Helix framework, everything ok but my SP Page Builder is dead. Had to desactivate all plug in for the migration to happen. If I go to SP Page Builder, I have a 500 behavior::tabstate not found. Normal : plugins are not activated

Now, If I reactivate the plugins, it gives me an error message and kills all my administrator. 0 Call to undefined method Joomla\CMS\Application\AdministratorApplication::isAdmin()

So, what should I do to have my SP Page builder running again?

Hi Fabrice,

  1. If you have JCE Editor update to current version (!) 2.9.2x

  2. Use FTP tool and DELETE those folders:

  • administrator\modules\mod_sppagebuilder_admin_menu
  • administrator\modules\mod_sppagebuilder_icons

Update SPPB if you have old version as well. Must be 3.8.6. Reinstall package.

Check again.

PHP 7.4 or PHP 8.0.x only those are fully supported.

Are you on vacation?

I wish. But not yet. Sorry I am working on documenation now, forum only little.

The link is OK. Works in Firefox, Safari - tested few seconds ago. After you would click it should ask you to save file with SPPB. Please change the browser in case of... your Chrome(?) don't want to download it.

Then reinstall component inside your Joomla. In case of... you can always share access

Hi Paul, sorry for the trouble but no matter the browser, I get a blank page on firefox, an access denied on Chrome and another blank page on safari... Any other way, is there a code?

Maybe you don't have access to SP Page Builer Pro anymore, in that case?

  1. What active membership you have here: https://www.joomshaper.com/dashboard ???

  2. Have you tried to download from: https://www.joomshaper.com/downloads/extension

so If you don't have active SPPB Membership I cannot send you current/new version of SPPB Pro for free. Only versions 3.8.x works with Joomla 4. Probably that's why you have problems after CMS upgrade.
