SPPB V4 Return URL When Closing An Edited Article

Hello!

The default return URL when closing an edited Article (Joomla Content) not SPPB Page goes to SPPB frontend dashboard where it list all the pages. I think that return URL is just right if you're editing an SPPB page but if it is an article, it should return to that article page, right?

Hi Ofi,

Open SPPB Version 4 Beta 2 in Joomla 4 and create a Joomla Article then use SP Page Builder instead of the Joomla's default editor. Please do it and you'll understand what I am saying.

If you have done it now, load any premade layout into the page, save it. Then click on the Exit to Dashboard icon in the top right of your SPPB Editor.

Where does it takes you? Does it take you to the SPPB Dashboard? Yes? Is that an intuitive workflow? You were editing a Joomla Article but it takes you back to SPPB Dashboard and the article you just edited is not in the list. I know you guys are trying to simplify everything but :D Joomla is not simple and not all website are created simple. Since you guys allowed SPPB Editor to be used in the article, what I am asking is, please do an extra mile in your code to make the workflow not confusing as possible.

Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback. We are aware of this issue. We have not worked on Articles yet. We will complete everything and then release the stable version. Please wait for the final version.

As of V4 RC2, with the new dashboard, it doesn't fix the issue of finding content edited using SPPB Editor. There's no content type filter in the new dashboard. What about the SPPB Module content? What about the com_content?
