After Update From SP Page Builder From 3.8.3 To 3.8.6 The Content is Now Wider

SP Page Builder 3 years ago

Dear Support,

i updated SP Page Builder from Version 3.8.3 to 3.8.6 in my staging environment and now the content area of the web page seems to be wider than before.

This messes up my design on the page somehow when i use for example 3 function boxes in a row and the arrangement of text and buttons in the boxes now have changed, because the boxes have more space(?) in the content row.

I use Helix Ultimate Template 2.0.7 actually.

What changed in SP Page Builder between 3.8.3 and 3.8.6 in case of content area width? Or is there something changed in dunction box object type that i missed?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Regards Marco.

Without URL I have to guess...

 @media (min-width: 1200px) {
.sp-page-builder .page-content div.sppb-section,
#sp-component .sppb-row-container,
.sppb-row-container {max-width: 1024px;}
}

just set correct px value.

Hi Marco, indeed we matched the SPPB container width to the bootstrap 5 standard, so it's a bit wider. Now is used this same container width as Helix Ultimate 2.0.x.

You can reduce container width only via custom CSS. If this is a really big problem for you.

Hello Paul,

thank you for your answer. That explains why it is like it is. It is indeed a big roblem for me actually, because now all my header images and layouts are not right anymore... Of course i can adap them as well but this will need a lot of time. Do you have a quick info how to set the relevant container in my custom.css (which i already use for other css style adaptions)?

Thanks for your help Paul!

Regards Marco.
