Joomla Core Calendar Button does Not Display Properly

OH

O. Harris

Template 3 years ago

I am using a module that displays Joomla core calendar function to show the calendar field at frontend of module, but it appears the template doesn't support Joomla core calendar input style.

How can Joomla core input style be added, please.

See screenshot links - https://prnt.sc/UwY5sXbZL7Rt and https://prnt.sc/Wr52HTr-hr1v

See website link - https://sdf.org.jm/explore/archival. Module is at the bottom (lower area) of the web page.

I contacted them and they said:

"In OSB Search module, we use Joomla core calendar function to show the calendar field at frontend of module, in your case, the template doesn't support Joomla core calendar input style. You should contact with template support team and ask them to add style for calendar field."

Please help.

I have added this CSS to Template Options -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS

.icon-calendar::before{
    font-family: 'Font Awesome 5 Free';
    font-weight: 900;
    font-size: 24px;
    content: "\f073";
}

#selected_date_btn:hover{
    color: initial;
}

Please check your site now.

There is just one more issue. Joomla provides the core function to show the calendar element (input box + calendar button with icon), but the template doesn't have CSS to make those items be in one line.

So the calendar button should be in the same row as input box. See screenshot link - https://prnt.sc/VUajW66Md0Gu

Please help.

    display: flex;
