Sorry, but I can not find any information in the documentation about what is the difference between SP Pagebuilder categories & Joomla categories? How and when should I use SP Pagebuilder categories?

Could you, please, explain or provide a link?

Hi There!

Thanks for your query.

Categories for SP Page Builder Pages, are ONLY for admin purpose, they were created only to keep pages in order - not to display pages from category, as you can do with articles.

I suggest to :

  1. Install > Enable Article integration
  2. Then create articles with SPPB Mode - then you will be able to use categories, but from articles.

If I may....

the main difference is that you can display (Article) Category view by using menu item(s), but you CANNOT do that with SPPB categories. Indeed, as we informed in documenation, they were created only for admin purpose.

SPPB mode can work only inside: Articles (you can choose, switch) and Pages (as default)
