Search Bar Position In Pre-defined Header

Hi,

I selected the "top bar" predefined header in the sppb pro template options which shows what looks a search module in the right corner of the top bar. However, when I select enable search it puts it in the main menu and then pushes the menu below the header.

I made a brief screencast to show the issue. https://staging.ntps.edu/index.php?option=com_sppagebuilder&view=page&id=71&Itemid=478

Hi,

Yes you have to create a custom header.And you can use this custom CSS

.header-modules {
    margin-left: 250px !important;
}

Then there will be some space on the right and you will fit the search bar there.

That's because you have too many menu-items. You will see that when you temporarily disable a number of menu items, the search field is displayed correctly.

Remco,

Unfortunately the menu items are client-specified.

I unpublished three menu items but the search bar remains in the menu, which I do not want. I would like to have it in the blue top bar above the menu as it looks like in the predefined header.

I guess you'll have to make a custom header...
