Export Helix Utimate

Due to persistent failures (a buggy interchange J3 and J4, inserting fields during trial migrations in J4.1.5) I am going to have to move a large site manually.

Since I don't see an export option in my J3 build, what would your suggestion be?

WAIT - there in the template manage, advanced options. (Facepalm).

Actually, you DO have the export settings tool in the template manager! (under the advanced tab)

Unfortunately, I am one of numerous individuals who lost track of a virgin J3 database. Once a trial has failed, it is extremely difficult to get it back if you don't have a clean J3 version. Akeeba can't help at this point. Joomla really should have a tool that scours the database and removes injected fields, primary keys, and myriad other mysteries - the complaints are numerous.

Hi.

So far Akeeba Backup was the best migrator / backup tool.

In that case, maybe you have to do all steps manually:

  1. Database export inside PHPMyAdmin (cPanel)
  2. Most File Managers in cPanel have option to compress all files into one .zip then download it - if not, ask hosting support.
  3. Update paths in configuration.php file after migration

In general, task beyond JoomShaper support.

In Helix Template Options you can export only template basic setting, NOT WHOLE website.

This same info you can also find in database using PHPMyAdmin
