SP Simple Portfolio Change Header Text

SP Simple Portfolio - Is it possible to change the header text above the field Client, Created Date and the text in Project Button, so I could use them for something else? Cheers

For instance I want to change Client to Author, Date to Last Updated and View Project to Open Document

Along with that, is it possible to change the landing page, like center image and change the margins, padding, the Heading style to Header 2 as opposed to Header 1, things like that.

Bsaically I'm trying to use it for someting it wasn't specifically designed for, a Document Catalogue, without too much effort Cheers

Please go to: template/language/en-GB

and change the following strings in this file: "en-GB.com_spsimpleportfolio.ini"

COM_SPSIMPLEPORTFOLIO_PROJECT_CLIENT="Client"
COM_SPSIMPLEPORTFOLIO_PROJECT_DATE="Date"
COM_SPSIMPLEPORTFOLIO_PROJECT_TAGS="Tags"

And, regarding the Landing page that you mentioned - could you explain or specify a bit more?

I think for me an ideal world would be if I could actually create the landing pages (when you click on 'view') and tell the exitention to go there. But assuming I can't do that, I would like to change things about the default page.

  • Basically the top margin doesn't fit in with my other pages.
  • The image really isn't important, its more the text and the link to the document. So I would like the image to be smaller (I use 460X500) so the visitor doesn't have to scroll down every time
  • I would like to change the header 1 font , under image, to change to something like header 3 Again I understand that this extension was meant for what I want to do but hoping I could tweak it some. Also, while I have you, I was wondering what the 'Edit with SP PB' was suppose to do.
