I'm not sure if this is still a bug (https://archive.joomshaper.com/forums/blog-category-view-does-not-show-the-modify-date-even-if-option-is-correctly-activated) but even by enabling on all possible options (general article options, single article option and menu option) the "Last Modified Date", on the Category Blog view only the "Published Date" is showing up.

Something similar I'm missing with the Addon "Articles" > Options when using the SPPB to create a page. Under the options you can only enable/disable the "Show Date", the created date, not the modified date. Any chance to get both options in the next release?

I believe that the users care more for the "Last Modified Date" than actually the "Created Date" (and even less for the Published Date). I don't care if an article was created or published in the year 2020, as long as the modified date is more recent and more up-to-date.
