Hi.

When in a JCE editor you add a paragraph (<p></p> tag by clicking enter), into the page code a garbage code appears.

The more editing actions you carry out, the more garbage code appears.

Hi there,

Thanks for contacting us. Sorry for the inconvenience. I have checked my end no problem found. Will you please provide me the Joomla administrator access to check the issue?

Note: Can you share an screencast video about the full scenario?

-Thanks

If I may...

  1. Can you test on JCE Pro as well?
  2. Inside SPPB 4.0.1 sourcecode we don't have :

< mce:root ... data-mce-root="1" >

So I think it's question for JCE developer somehow.

I used JCE Pro 2.9.28 and html code was clean after < enter >

also on front-end preview code was OK.

BTW My default JCE settings

Hi Paul and Toufiq.

Paul, I don't have JCE Pro. Only free.

So I think it's question for JCE developer somehow.

Maybe. But there is no problem in SPPB 3.

Here is a step by step for the purity of the experiment.

Using SPPB 3, I add a text addon. I put the cursor at the end of the text and press Enter to get p.

Everything is clean in the code.

I update to SPPB 4. Add a new text addon. I put the cursor at the end of the text and press Enter to get p.

Now in the code is garbage.

I assume that the mce-data... elements are service elements from JCE and they work when editing only. In live page they should be cleaned. At least in SPPB 3, but not in SPPB 4.

Access in hidden area.
