Joomla Standard Publishing Options Per Page

Hello,

I hope this message finds you all well and good.

I am wondering if someone can tell me where the meta options and robots options are per page in sp page builder? I use this with joomla articles that i do not want google robots to index, such as thank you pages, certain form pages etc.

In a joomla article under the publishing tab is where you would choose the options required.

Meta Description, Meta Keywords

Robots > (noindex, nofollow) etc.

I cannot seem to find any place in a sp page builder page that allows for this. Can someone point me in the right direction please.

Thank you for your help.

Hi Douglas,

In Articles that is Joomla Core feature that you should be able to find here

It should work also with SPPB Mode enabled inside.

About Pages - indeed we don't have it, we assumed (maybe wrong?) that pages that shouldn't be visible on front-end you just do not add to the menu yet.

Can you explain me why do you need "Robots" settings for Pages?

I am curious about your opinion and the real use of this option.

BTW

In the meantime I added to wish-list for SPPB 4.

Hello and Good morning Paul,

I believe search engines will index the page even if it is not in the main menu structure. I have run into this many times where a hidden/private form (that isnt visible to the general public) still gets filled out by persons trying to gain access to your system, or promote their viagra etc.

The only way that I know how to help control this on a page such as a private form is through the robots options.

This is also not a situation where the right people, who have been sent the private form link, should register with joomla prior to being able to access the private form. That would be cumbersome.

As a side note, Joomla also has the tools on the same page for metadata which helps with SEO. All of that seems to have not been implemented into page builder as of yet.

I hope we can have the same functions conveniently available in page builder pages.

Maybe these options could go in the left side where you have already implemented some publishing options?

Thank you very much for your consideration on this.
