Hi I've just installed the strings template and have a few issues regarding the component SP strings:

  1. There are so many spelling mistakes in the backend - how do i correct them. F.inst when I add an event - the event start date is misspelled and so is event start time

  2. The website I'm building is for a venue so I don't need to put in the event address on every event.

  3. Is it possible to get rid of the Event Map or at least not make it a required text field? Each time i open an event to edit some info the event map field is deleted and I've to enter the address again - very annoying :-)

  4. If I don't chose an event artist when creating an event. I get a sql error when clicking on the event in frontend

  5. I've chosen a 2 column layout but the banner image doesn't fill out the entire column. I've tried clearing cache and inkognito but no difference.

  6. Is it only the event title that links to the event. Is it not possible to put a link on the banner image as well?

  7. How do i edit the event detail page? I don't need to display Our performers when there's only one performer. Also the buy ticket (køb billet) link doesn't work only the buy now link works

Your answers are as follows:

  1. Please go to administrator\language\en-GB\en-GB.com_spstrings.ini and find this string COM_SPSTRINGS_EVENT_START_TIME_LABEL and update the value.
  2. If you are talking about the administrator, then you have to put the same address for every event.
  3. Please go to this location: administrator\components\com_spstrings\views\event\tmpl and replace form.form.xml with the attached file. You need to unzip first and then replace.

form.form.zip

  1. Yes, you have to choose an artist.
  2. It looks like that you have customized the main file. In the quickstart, it works okay with 2 columns.
  3. Please go to this location: components\com_spstrings\layouts\events and customize event.php file.
  4. Please go to this location: components\com_spstrings\views\event\tmpl and edit default.php file.
