Addon Articles Vertical Slider - 1054 Unknown Column 'article' In 'where Clause'

I'm receiving this error when i attempt to use the addon Articles Vertical Slider.

"1054 Unknown column 'article' in 'where clause'"

When i remove the item, it disappears and the frontend of the site returns and starts to work again. No other errors displayed on the page in development mode.

Any suggestions?
