How To Change Background Color Of Top Of Page

I'm new to JoomShaper and Joomla, and I apologize in advance, but I am not familiar with all the terminology yet. I am trying to modify the colors of the background at the top of my page. I am using the Yoga template. Anytime I try to edit in SP Pagebuilder, the icons to edit the region on the page disappear when I cross the menu/logo region. The URL to the site is https://www.committwofit.com/index.php. Please ask any questions to clarify what I'm trying to do, as it's obvious I'm a complete noob at JoomShaper and SP Pagebuilder. In order to change the background color of the region outlined in green - you will need to use custom css. The following is the current background color:
.yoga-hero-section::before {
background-image: linear-gradient(137deg,#ff5757 0%,#764aff 100%);
}Kindly change the gradients and add the rule in custom css section.

Now, in the SP Pagebuilder editor shown in the image below, I believe I need to access the blue menu by the arrow in order to edit the background color, but when I move my cursor across the area in the green rectangle, the blue menu disappears. It's as if the menu/logo area is on top of the colored block and takes precedence.
