Is It Possible To Edit The Title On An Article Addon?

So I use the article addon and have my articles displayed and I use the title of the article itself and not a custom one. So now is the question if it is possible to edit this title so that I can center it and also is it possible to break the title so the first part is on top and the second below. Because my titles are structed like this <"Main Title" Subtitle> and the "Main Title" part should be on top and the Subtitle below it.

I tried to look for a way to do it with custom code because I can't find any settings and even this way I can't find any solution :/

Hello

Thank you for your query.

In article settings provide the title like this: Main title <span>Subtitle</span>

Then use the following css rule in custom css section. The part inside span will drop below

.sppb-addon-title {
    display: grid;
}

Well thanks but that is the complete opposite of that what I want :/ I don't want to use a custom Title because 1. I can't click it and 2. I have to enter it manually everytime...

I want to customize this part .sppb-article-info-wrap but it looks like it is not possible...

Hi Stiles.

As far as I understand your explanation, you are trying to configure the consequence, but not the reason. The reason is that main Joomla article heading does not allow to divide this into Title and Subtitle. Article Addon simply pulls up the value of this field. Therefore, in the addon itself, you cannot configure this in any way.

Perhaps I misunderstood something ...

So you are telling me it's not possible to edit the position of the title that I have to enter into the article name and it's not even possible to hide?

Then this useless custom title I have to manually enter can be split into two rows but I can't center it and I can't make it into a link?

You can hide for users through CSS. But this will remain in the code, which is bad for SEO.

Article Addon cleans all formatting. Therefore, you will not be able to use custom title in Article Addon from the box.

Here is the redone Article Addon in which the formatting purification was deleted. This is for SP PB 3. I have not yet checked in SP BB 4. https://www.dropbox.com/s/dt0e0uvoyx2keot/articles_format.zip?dl=0

Create the structure of folders templates/your-template/sppagebuilder/addons and unpack there.

After that, you can find this addon at the bottom of the addons list (SPPB 3)
