Save As Copy Or Even Import/export Throws Error

Hi,
tried exporting the canvas and importing into a new article..it imports all good but when previiwing it throws error;
Error: json_decode(): Argument #1 ($json) must be of type string, stdClass given: Exception::__construct(): Argument #2 ($code) must be of type int, string given
tried few times..same error.
also save as copy of the page doesnt work, it creates the page and i can see it is a new page with title(2) but i am not able to find it in the article listing nor in sp page builder pages listing.. ..
we run php 8 with joomla 3.x.
feels like we paid for this plugin to test and find bugs..we should be paid fr doing this work..really buggy 4.0...can we downgrade till the bug is sorted?

Thank you for your query. Could you kindly let me know if you are using any template? Can you try downgrading your PHP once & check again, please? And, if you want to downgrade from 4 for now, yes you can do that. But make sure to use full website backup. It's the most trusted method. If somehow you forgot to make backup, ask your hosting provider, they should have.
Also, remember to delete this folder before website recover from backup files. components\com_sppagebuilder becuase it contains SPPB 4.x files that are not needed in SPPB 3.x.

Accepted Answerits joomshaper template, Travus.. i found the bug. its when you save using the joomla native buttons, the json content gets corrupted so it throws error. first time copy or save as sp pagebuilder canvas works.. to be honest, you guys have ruined your reputation by releasing this 4.x version. in the name of features, you have compromised on quality resulting in so many bugs.
I have downgraded to 3.8.x by restoring a backup as the installing that version over 4.x just doesnt work.
very disappointed customer...

Today I was trying on a live website (php8.1 and Joomla! 3.10.11) currently using the template Arino, the Helix ultimate template. The reason is, to see if I am able to create the same looks with the Helix Ultimate as what I had done earlier with te (some older) Arino template in preparation for Joomla 4.
I also saw this same error when I tried to edit the Helix Ultimate template. This template uses "a sort of" frontpage editing to create the user preferences and looks.
Now the solution lies within the fact that it's a live website I was editing, and a while ago I had set page compression, JS compression an css compression, also compile css to scss. And the setting "yes" in the Joomla ->general settings->Production mode.
Maybe the problem Nagesh is experience will be gone if he first remove al the compression settings and check the production mode. and deleting the cache. I tried a couple of tests to get the error back, and solved again. I truly hope this will be also the solution for him. Best regards! Rob
