PHP 8 Update Breaks Indigo (and More) Templates

Hello there,

Whenever the server updates to PHP 8 a couple of my website break... I have one on the Indigo Template and one on the Arino template... As i understood from another post the templates that have J2Store in it will not be updates for Joomla 4 untill J2Store is ready to release the new version (which takes quite a while now). Is there a way to have these templates usable without upgrading to Joomla 4 but with PHP8 update?

Regards,

Robert

Hi there Mehtaz Afsana Borsha,

Is there any update on this? I only have a couple of weeks before php7.4 will become unavailable on the hosting servers... If i wait too long multiple websites will go offline and i can't remake them all on such short notice... Offcourse i understand that you all are very busy as well but time is not on my side so i dont want to wait till the last moment and find out that my websites will break...

Yes Our maximum templates do not support php version 8. A lot of users are concerned about the fact that their hosting providers will not provide support for php 7.4. They are asking us when we can address this issue. They are asking a tentative timeline. We are really sorry for this inconvenience. We have already informed it to our team. Hope for the best.

Is there any update for this problem? If Indigo will not be updated before the 28th of november (end of life for php7.4) then i have try to remake the website in a new template... It will cost me some time to remake and i cant afford to let the website go offline... So i would really like to know if there will be a quick fix or something to use the template even without the j2store component...
