Helix3 - Module Padding Issues And Blog Page Content Width Control?

Helix Framework 3 years ago

I installed Helix3 in a Joomla 3.10.x on a development site and am using Helix default settings over pre-existing content. I am an "advanced" beginner.

  1. Having trouble adding padding/margin parameters to modules to control placement. I know that is easy to do with a component in Helix3 but not with modules. That said, it is very hard to center and contain component content (article) on front page. Fluid width displays article content too wide. I thought best to use boxed width then add a module with image to help center the article content.
  2. Similar issue with blog pages but the reverse. Blog article content too restricted.
  3. Megamenu dropdown goes off page.

Joomla 3.10.x, Helix3 (3.0.2)

My issue seems to be "hung", listed as being posted 2 days ago, actually was posted about 5 days ago. Please let me know if I can simplify the request or if I'm asking too much. Thanks. :)

Hi.

First of all, I would advise you to use Helix Ultimate. Helix 3 outdated.

As far as I understand your questions, it has nothing to do with Helix and is decided using CSS code

Thanks, kindly, Pavel. I assume that deleting Helix 4 components and adding Ultimate is the correct thing to do?

Also, I see in the bug fix notes for Helix Ultimate that Page Builder 4 issues are addressed. Does Page Builder work together with Ultimate, or is it one or the other?

Hi Don,

Helix 4 ??? not yet ;)

  1. Yes, please uninstall Helix3 template and all Helix3 plugins.
  2. Install Helix Ultimate template
  3. Yes, it works. But if you do not feel comfortable with SPPB 4.0.x you can still download and use SPPB 3.8.9
