Template Editing

I am using the Hope template and Helix 3 framework.
I am not able to edit the template via the front end like I can with other templates.
This means I need to edit it via the joomla admin area, save and view each time I make a change. With other templates I can make the changes in real time and see the changes.
Should I be using Helix ultimate instead? I'd prefer this as it's much easier.
Can you advise?

I've totally wasted my time working with this template as it's out of date.

Thanks for contacting us and take our humble apology. You can not use Helix Ultimate in a Helix 3 template. Because they are totally different framework.
