SP Page Builder 2 years ago

When clicking on "Edit with SP Page Builder" in the backend, it immediately takes me to the front end editor. JCE Editor was on the site, I've unistalled it. Still won't work

Please advise

Just installed SP Pagebuilder and Helix ulitmate on a new joomla installation and it is doing the same thing. Create the article in the back end, but when I click on "Edit with SP Page Builder" it takes me to the front of the site.

Will you please provide me the Joomla administrator access to check the issue?

Good morning, Thank you for checking into this. I've included the site credentials. Also just realized, I can't modify my existing pages either. When I click on an article to modify it takes me to the screen to decide to use a joomla editor or SP Page builder, if I select SP Pagebuilder it takes me to the front to create a new page. So I am complete stuck at the moment on these sites.

I now have three sites doing this same thing.

I've several sites still running version 3.8.9 with no problems Upgrade them to 4.0.6 and thats when it starts

The Admin URL has a "!" on the end, please be sure to use it or it will redirect you to the home page

No it isn't working. Try clicking on an existing article? But please don't modify. This is a live site

But I can't get to it. All I get is the prompt in the front end of the site to create a new page And this is happening on multiple sites and seemingly only on the latest version

I'm getting the same result on multiple computers and multiple browsers

I've also just tried it on my phone not connected to the same wifi as the computers and it is doing the same thing. I cannot edit an existing article, nor create a new one in the backend of the site. It boots me out to the front end.

Since you are clicking on Edit with SP Page builder, would you need to add a Joomla article widget and reference the article? Then build your stylized page around it?

Looks like the addon that you added is showing in the Joomla Editor not in the SP Page Builder Editor. Isn't that backwards?

On one of the sites that was not working properly I downgraded back to version 3.9.6 and it is working the right way again. I know that is not the permanent solution but atleast I'll be able to edit my pages again. Lets keep working on this until we find the fix for it

Sorry, this feature doesn't exist on Page Builder 4. I mean as like Page Builder 3 feature won't add future.
