SPPB Image Gallery

Using the gallery addon in SPPB when I browser for an image I can't see any, I just see the massage
Drag & Drop files to upload.
However when I ftp to the folder in my directoty I can see the images fine. I have cleared my cache.. My site is localhost

Please upload your images to SP Page Builder -> Media Manager options. Uploading via ftp will not work.

Maybe I didn't explain it correctly. I am not uploading images via ftp - I simply checked that the images were in the folder.
I can see images in my /images/logo folder when I check via ftp. However, when I am in SPPB and insert image > that folder is empty. The same thinng has hapenned with other images.
When I upload the image into /images/logo it works, but when I check via ftp there are lots of duplicates.
It seems like SPPB cannot see any images inmany of my folders.
