Mega Menu Helix3 - Floox Template - Can't Organize Submenu Items

I'm setting up a new site using the Floox template, and I'm trying to setup a 4 column Mega Menu. I've created 4 submenu headers and single articles under each of those. When I go to edit the top level menu item, I see the submenu items in a sinlge box, in the first column, but I dont have the ability to drag them into the other columns. I can easily add modules, but submenu items are not movable?

I figured out that I wasn't hitting the "reset" button to build the new layout. Reading the directions throughly helps

I'm sorry, I know how to organize the menus int he backend, I'm trying to get 4 columns of links to appear, and they all just keep showing up in the first column. How do I move each heading into its own Helix column?
