I have the Enabled Search option enabled in the Basics Section of Helix settings (show search box in menu).
I also have a Smart search module, which I have displayed in the Home Page, using Joomla Addon in SP PB Page.
The Smart Search Module has a Search Filter assigned to it. Articles only and specific Catagories.
If I search DISCORD via the module Search Box , I get the expected results. If I then test the Menu Search Box, immediately after results display, I will again get the same , expected results.
However if I go home, hard refresh (Ctrl+F% in Chrome) and then search DISCORD in Menu Search Box the filter is being ignored. You will see results from Page and Tags.
Is there anyway to point to Menu Search Box at a specific search module/article/menu or something?

Had another thought, can I add my own Smart Search Module in the menu and that position? It's very useful when I use the site myself :-)
Ok, answered my own question - the above is the way to do it. Don't use default Helix Basic option, create smart search module and add at menu position (no menu item needed). So I can have a 'All Articles' default search and then other more selective searches
Maybe someone else will find useful
Edit: 2022.12.16 - Besides the above you also need to add the following classes to the Module's Module Class field d-none d-sm-block i order to hide the search on Mobiles
