Create An Article Template

Just wondering if there is any way to create an Article Template without high php/html/css skill levels?

I ask because all my articles are simple, single row, articles made of a main text section, image and accordion and buttons. The background colors, margins, padding, border settings are always the same across all articles

I know about export and import and sections but that doesn’t help if I decided to change the background color of the accordion, for all articles. My ideal world would be changing that in the Article Template would affect all articles… all this while still utilizing the Helix Utlimate template for the rest of the site

tbbh, I'm not hopeful it is possible, but just in case, thought I would ask Cheers

Hi,

Yes, possible. For example:

  1. You can use SP Page Builder integration
  2. or check features of "Content Templater" from RegularLabs

HTML & CSS knowledge is like a a car driving license, without you being only a CMS passager.

Cheers Paul, will check out both option Re: knowledge, I hear ya and I actually had it about 7-8 years ago but time and life have not been kind and I have since lost it. Site is only a personal one, I work on occasionally, so don't really have the time or drive to learn it all again, just to probably forget it again so.... it is what it is :-)

Thanks again for your always helpful guidance Steve

Sorry, quick followup, would the "Content Templater" work with articles that I used SP Page Builder pro on or just native articles? Cheers

CT - it works only in Native mode of Article.

This is not plugin/addon for SPPB, so it will not work in SPPB mode / area.

Thanks for info! I do plan to have 1000s of articles in future so might have to make them more Custom CSS driven so I will be able to tweak some things over time. A lot to learn, never the time [sigh]
