Article List Layout - Left Alignment, Padding

Site: www.comfoot.co.nz Joomla 4, SP Page Builder 4, Helix Ultimate template

The short story is, I'd like to know if there is a way to control the formatting of article list layouts. At the moment, some article lists on my site are showing fully left-justified without any padding or left border. Ideally I would prefer the lists centred on the page. For an example of the problem, you can visit my site and select the 'Slippers' menu option.

The long story is as follows...

My website uses the third party component 'Custom Properties'.
There are approximately 300 articles, most of which contain product information and photos. In addition to using categories to produce article lists, the searches also rely on Custom Properties attributes such as the manufacturer, product type, measurement, etc. For this reason, I am unable to take advantage of the Page Builder 'Article' add-on which works only with selected categories. So for the article lists, my site must use standard Joomla article list/blog menu options which integrate with Custom Properties.

All the articles were created prior to upgrading to Joomla 4 and installing SP Page Builder 4.

Is there a way to control the appearance of article lists? I've searched for solutions but so far have not found anything that works.

Hi

Thanks for contacting us. You can use custom CSS for that. You can follow this blog below:

Many thanks. This is excellent advice and an excellent article on CSS.

I have now established that the elements that needs adjustment are part of the Custom Properties component CSS and the template.

I have successfully made the adjustments using the Helix Ultimate template Custom CSS input box.

Problem solved.

OK yes, I'll be happy to post a review once I have my Joomla extensions account renewed. I'm not able to access it at the moment. I'd rather not create a trustpilot account but will do my best with Joomla. Thanks again.
