The email cloaking plugin is a Content Plugin. That means that the plugin is triggered by events that start with "onContent", see: https://docs.joomla.org/Plugin/Events/Content You can use the email cloaking plugin in non-core components or modules when those also trigger those events.

If those non-core extensions don't listen to the Content Plugin events, then you cannot use Content Plugins. Some 3rd party extensions have their own events. A programmer can program a plugin that listens to such events.

Finally, System Plugins are always triggered, so if the 3rd party extensions don't have any events, then you might be able to solve it with a custom System Plugin.*

Do you plan to solve this for Helix and the SpPageBuilder?

@Robert I asked Regular Labs and they will not update the Plugin to Joomla 4.

@Joomshaper I think that Joomshaper needs to implement a solution for their software. This is important for security.

@MB As I mention before, we will improve that soon, in one of upcoming Helix updates. I added to wish list seven days ago.

For our site we used security extension, I can only ask about his name - but I doubt if I can share name.

Email Address Obfuscation from cloudflare (.) com that we use.

By now use Custom module with copied HTML and antispam code inside and publish in top2.

You are looking wrong. You have to look in the Sourceocode ... NOT in the inspektor! You will always see the normal E-Mail in the Inspektor Mode...

Please ask your Developer how they to that with the protection...
