using template edulib with joomla 426, with SP Build 389. its save to upgrade to PHP 8?

Thanks for contacting us. No sorry it is not ready yet. PHP 7.0.x (minimum), PHP 7.1 or PHP 7.2 or PHP 7.3 (64 bit version, recommended).

You can use the Patches which I have provided to Joomshaper to make the Template work with PHP 8.x.
