Can AVIF and WebP be used on all types of images?

I want to publish my pictures in high quality and small space format. Does joomshaper support these two current and future formats?

yes, in both. Remember to use name also in small letters!

.webd should work after.

Hi Ismaral,

.webp - yes, but first you have to add support inside Joomla Media (!): Content > Media > Options. Then you can use it inside Image and Gallery addon etc.

about 2nd one, I never used - so I cannot confirm/deny.

And full AVIF support will be released in PHP 8.1, so your Joomla have to use it.
