Width Of Image Different When Uploading Via Ftp And Via The Sppb System

Hello,

I have a small question regarding uploading images in my website via SP Page Builder.

  • When I upload an image via ftp, the problem does not occur.
  • When I upload an image through the SPPB system, it is stretched (it keeps the height that was specified, but does not automatically adjust the width, in the settings nothing is entered for width):

see here: [https://i.ibb.co/0D9dHRz/verkeerde-afbeelding.jpg]

How come and how can this be solved?

Website: www.dieusaert.net Joomla: 4.2.7 SPPB version: 3.8.9 PRO template: Helix Ultimate addon: image

administration login and ftp data can be provided to try out the problem

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Hello Dennis Vercauteren

Apology for the inconvenience. Please share your administrator access and the issue page link here to check the issue. Use the Hidden Content box to share the credentials. Make sure that you have a full site backup with you before sharing.

Best regards

When I log in, there is a popup. Please share that credential too. Then I will be able to check the issue.

What do you mean by a popup? I don't see a pop-up anywhere (except for the cookie-control banner), not when I log in with your or my login details?

But if it could help, the cookie banner that appears is the 'CookieHint' by reDim GmbH: https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/cookiehint/

strange, I don't get this when I log in with your user credentials in the admin area. I haven't set this up either, also wondering what this is where this can be turned on or off? Is this the Joomla API Token? https://prnt.sc/0xuVeJkRwwdv

Please talk to your hosting provider. I am not sure but there might be any block for Bangladesh (country). Please fix this or provide the popup credentials to check your issue.

the hosting has built this in to protect Joomla websites from brute-force attacks.

If you see the additional login screen, please enter the information below.

Thanks for the popup access. Please check the page (in the hidden content). Enable the last section. I have used the same images. First one was uploaded through SP Page Builder and the third one through File Explorer. I have not found the issue.

We are not going to investigate or try to solve this 'problem' any further. I have been able to teach my client to use ftp so that the incorrect display of the image does not occur.

In the meantime I have learned something about the security of my website against brute attacks.

anyway thanks for your help!
