Addons are Not 100% Width

On a site using J3! (latest) and SP3.X (latest) I have several pages with columns based rows.

When I use the RAW HTML, the content does not fill the full width of the column it is inside. This has also been seen on a columnn based page with an SP Accordion in it.

The only way I can force the content to fill the column is to use a CSS rule such as:

#sppb-addon-1676558852044 {width:100% !important;}

Which when I have loads of addons affected, is a real unnecessary pain in the rear.

I have checked that this does not happen on a different site with exactly the same row and column and content.

In the hidden content I've provided the URL of the affected pages (where I have to use CSS to sort the issue) and a page where I have not applied any CSS so you can compare. Also I have given the admin URL and credentials.

Hope you can help!

Hi Chris,

Sorry, Checking... I also noticed that you used extra plugin inside, this is not default code from youtube etc. So maybe that question should be asked to plugin developer support (allforjoomla).

As you probably noticed that plugin has shortcode parameters, also for size.

Test that:

<div>[mx_youtuber size="high" type="video" id="gNaytnjFbt8" display="description"]</div>

with that "Lofty" video can be wider (without CSS tricks), your clips can be too small.

Hi there Paul,

Thanks for your investigation and reply. Yes, I've been aware of the size option and have only used a couple of times in the past. Normally, I do not use size option, preferring to allow the video to fill its parent container. I guess this is where the problem lies in that on one site I do not need to do any sizing at all whereas on the other, I need to undertake sizing which is messy and can provide problems with responsiveness.

What I've decided to do in the end is to go for a full Joomla! 4 build with SPPB 4.X. this overcomes the problem. Having said that, I do find SPPB 4.X slightly less fluid to use as a developer. I will raise a ticket about that one separately.

Thanks your help. Feel free to close this ticket.

You're welcome. About sizes details you have to talk with plugin developer. Mark as solved, I cannot, thanks.

As I know, I our team is working to develop Back-end editor for SPPB 4.0.x - I hope in next weeks should be ready.
