ERROR 404 - Problem Linking Joomla Articles Created With SP Page Builder PRO

SP Page Builder 2 years ago

I recently created a new native Joomla article using SP Page Builder and published it. However, when I linked it to a menu, I received a 404 error message stating that the component was not found. This is a significant issue for me as it means that I am unable to use Joomla articles and categories to list category articles.

Additionally, the menu inherited strange behavior after this occurred. The only way to make it work again was to insert a URL, as it would no longer write the ID of SP Page Builder or even Joomla articles. Although I have found a workaround by inserting the URL, the strange behavior still persists. If the link is to the same page, the error still renders the 404 error, and if the link is to another SP Page Builder page, that page becomes unavailable as well. As a result, I have had to recreate the page and use a fresh menu item to link to it.

I have tried everything I can remember to resolve the problem, including cleaning the cache and checking out SP Builder pages and Joomla. However, the issue persists. Please advise me on what steps I can take to fix this issue.

Thank you for your help. Ps- An account with login details was sent

Hi Joao,

I couldn't login to back-end area, I tried 2x

Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

BTW

Please try also using Cassiopeia template set as default! Switch for 90sec and test links.

Good morning. Your sugestion have worked. Well sort of. I was able to produce a header module, an article and a bottom module published in a position that I have created in the Ulimate template. Modules are SP Builder módules, Al the elements have been created in joomla with SP page builder. the problem is that now the bottom module (it's a form inserted with javascript, is now rendering 2 or 3 times.) it works fine if is inserted on the body of the article. ...

  • that is interfering with menu assigment of the module too. It's assigned at two menu itens, If you unchek one, it stills rendering.

Can you take a look and give some guidance? Thanks

now the bottom module (it's a form inserted with javascript, is now rendering 2 or 3 times.)

Is this is custom javascript added by You? If yes, sorry custom code is not supported by us.

@Joao, Orginally it was your topic, I don't underdtand why @Carlos joined instead of creating separate topic, and now we have mess that I don't like.

@Carolos - next time please create your own topic! Less confusion for all of us. Thx.

I can move addons between columns, and put from the list of addon, used Firefox.

Its a javascript that bellongs to an affiliate program. The thing is that it works perfect if inserted directly in a page builded by SP pagebuilder and it works perfect if is inserted in a joomla module. So, I don't need your help to support anything related with the form but to discover why the Sp builder module behaves like this.

As you can see in the link attached to another page it works perfect when it is rendered inside a SP page builder page.

I found the problem. As mentioned, it's not related to JavaScript but rather a problem with the template. If you had paid a little more attention to what I wrote, you could have saved me a few hours of work.

As I mentioned, I created a "bottom-content" position in the template admin. It turns out that Ultimate already had that position embedded, which was the reason why the content was duplicated. The issue is now closed for me.

Thank you for your collaboration. :)

While Sp Page Building have great features I'm finding my self fight with it for long periods.

Is there a Way to avoid 404 page not found when editing an article inside joomla?. It seams some how sometimes SP lost the path to the pages that created within.

The page still editable on front altough.
