it depends about what templates we are talking about.

For example component J2Store is dead end - its developer gave up, probably won't be stable verison for J4.

But HikaShop, PhocaCart etc. you can install on almost any new template and use as shopping platform.

What I see is that none of the e-commerce is for joomla 4 additional note that we are already on PHP 8 and none of the e-commerce runs on php 8. And if possible create Joomla 4 with virtuemart which is in continuous development. Because the current templates could not be used.

J2Store - published RC version of J2Store for J4x this year, but .... nobody knows if stable version will ever be.

By now I don't have any news in that topic, sorry.
