SPPB: Carousel / Rotating Images As Row Background?

Hello,
is it possible to have rotating images (like a carousel) in the background of a row in SPPB?
I would like to place other SPPB Addons in this row "on top", but instead of having one single background image I would like to have rotating images as a backgrund.

The green-marked area is a fluid row in SPPB with a background image. Instead of the single image, i would like to have a carousel with rotating images in the background.

the page link (with Login/password information, as the site is still under construction) is in the hidden content section.
The carousel /scroller should be in the top section of the main page.
