Stock Templates For J4

How can I know which templates offered on JoomShaper site are for J4 ? It seems that until I start download I cannot be sure the version and obviously templates for J3 do not work with J4 (causing Errors). To be honest I just downloaded and tested a dozen of templates in J3 and not even one showed up as expected. Also most of the content seems to be missing.

Could somebody explain what is going on here ? This looks like a total mess !

I for example downloaded the LMS component. Installed this on recent J4 testing site and it doesn't look like the one on the Joomshaper DEMO page. Basically there is only a menu bar, nothing else...

Hi

Thanks for contacting us. You can find it from here:

https://www.joomshaper.com/joomla-templates

Here in every template it is mentioned which version it is.

Thank you for replying.

  1. what is the "TEMPLATE SETTINGS" file ? Some sets have it, some don't

  2. I am confused about you marking those templates for J3 or J4. Many of them have both, but when I tried to download for J4 it was showing J3 in the filename and obviously I was getting errors or they did installed but something was not working.

  3. I also need to know if the templates for J4 would work with standard Casiopeia template. The HELIX template is a big mess and is causing tons of problems.

  4. I would like to install your LMS component. How can I install this without Helix framework ? I did test installation and your package includes complete J4 site code but the content is missing. I was expecting to get something like your LMS Demo site but it doesn't look like so.

1: For template settings this documentation may help you

https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/joomla-templates/educon/educon-template-settings

2: Could you please mention the template name?

3: Sorry most of our teamplates are based on Helix Ultimate.

4: For LMS you can use this documentation below:

https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/joomla-extensions/sp-lms

I looked up this document but there is still missing info.

  • how can I get the content (like on your demo page) ?
  • can I install LMS with the standard Casiopeia template ?
  • this component seems to be quite incomplete. There is no even Login/Registration page ?

Arthur,

  1. Only via installing Quickstart, it's normal procedure since Joomla 1.x.
  2. Yes, SP LMS is component so you can use it with any template you want.
  3. It uses Joomla login/register. For more advanced features & views order Guru LMS or JoomlaLMS.

thanks , but you did not seem to have answered my first 2 questions (just the last one). I installed this component and then I installed 3 of your suggested templates (one after another). Unfortunately I was not able to get this test site to look like any of those screenshots presented here. https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/joomla-extensions/sp-lms/sp-lms-and-joomla-templates I do not understand than what is the purpose of posting your templates if one has to do everything from scratch (?). I do not know if I am missing something ? is this intended ? or there are simply some missing files (in the template)...

Those screenshot are from Educon, Varista, Yoga template - there is even a logo of it.

But I agree, I have to add also screenshot from raw Helix Ultimate without extra styles.
