Editing Article In Front End Shows Always No Content

I'm using SP PageBuilder 4.0.10 with Helix Ultimate 2.0.12 on Joomla 4. I can create in the front end an article and it will also show. When I edit this article in the backend like with /administrator/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&layout=edit&id=250 this works as well. When I however edit this with the "Edit" button in the front end the URL looks like this: /index.php/component/content/form/von-obermuetzkow-nach-redebas?layout=edit&Itemid=101&catid=10 and the article is empty. When I add &a_id=250 to this URL, then it works even in the front end. But I would like that editing works in the front end without having to know and add the article id in the URL.

Hi there!

Sorry for your experience.

Are you facing this with a specific article or all article, please?

You may share your admin access to check the issue.

Yes, we are facing this with every article. The credentials are shared within hidden context. Thanks for helping.

If it's Aricle layout: You need a classic Joomla menu, type bloglayout, with the same article category and hide it. Yes, it's an awkward redundance, but it solved the problem for me.

Thanks Martin, I created a menu, but the problem did not change. Do you have a screenshot of the menu how you created it, I'm not sure whether I did a typ bloglayout. At the end it got URL index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=10 in the (hidden) menu but most likely that is wrong.

Martin, is it possible to show how you created the menu - that would be very nice.

Hi Nils,

Please take my apology for the unwanted delay.

Please create a menu item of category blog type then select the category of your desired article and publish the menu item. You can even kept it as a hidding one either. If the category of your article is published in a menu item then the URL should be ok while in editing mode.

Again sorry :(
