Error Message Unable To Detect Manifest File

SP Page Builder 2 years ago

I have a page running SP Page Builder Lite 4.0.10. I purchased SP Page Builder Pro and am trying to install it. I followed the instructions until they require me to upload the extension. I tried to upload the xml file and get an error message: unable to detect manifest file. https://targetlanguage.com.au

Running Joomla 4.3.0

Many thanks

To add to this; I saw a comment on another thread suggesting that the problem was becasue my browser had unzipped SPPB Pro when downooading. I went back and changed the settings, the downloaded it again as a .zip file. Then when I tried to upload it, it was too big - 2.8 MB compared to the upload limit of 2 MB. So then I tried to upload it to my cPanel on the host and install it from there. No luck - I got the 'manifest file' error message again. Help..?

Hi there!

Thanks for contacting us.

I have checked your system information and the upload max filesize is low there: https://prnt.sc/3Qn8IjceTnyP

This is increased in the php settings on your hosting.

Parameters: upload_max_filesize and post_max_size.

If you are facing difficulty to increase them, kindly ask your hosting support.

However, the following doc may help:

https://www.itoctopus.com/how-to-increase-the-maximum-allowed-size-of-uploaded-files-in-joomlas-media-manager

Kindly check them also according to the SP Page Builder Pro technical requirements and PHP configurations:

Best Regards
