SP Page Builder 2 years ago

Joomla 4.3.x, PHP 8.1, SP Page Builder 4.0.10, DPCalendar 8.11.0, Helix Ult 2.0.12 site: https://afghanhoundclubofamerica.org

Upgraded from Joomla 3.x last week. Since then, when I try to save my landing page, the save just swirls and will never save. Prior to the migration, SP Page Builder was saving fine on the older version. I know it's the module because if I delete the module, it will save the page. I can add the module and change it to breadcrumbs and it will save. When I change it to the Upcoming module, it will hang. The Upcoming module is pulling event dates from a Google calendar.

I don't know why the type or the content of the module is causing it to hang. I am unable to update my frontpage right now because I don't want to lose my upcoming calendar as it's a large reason the page is hit.

So, if I edit the module and change the calendar to a native type in the Upcoming module, I can save the page. Then I can go in and edit the module to show a Google calendar, and it will then show the Google calendar on the frontpage. Something about when the Upcoming module is pointing to a Google calendar instead of a native calendar is making the SP Page Builder save stb.

I wouldn't call it "working" as every time I need to update the page, I have to disable the Google calendar and change it to a normal database calendar in order for the SP Page Builder to save. I've identified the culprit, but no, I wouldn't consider it "fixed."

Sorry for this inconvenience. But I think you can also go it this way. In the meanwhile I hope it will be updated soon.
